It all started when two interns joined forces to produce a line frequented with antique textiles and fun patterns.

slashandburn.

burnout tanks...and the classic lace bra.

Theres an exuberant contrast between lace and the burnout that seems like a match made in heaven. The two are actually polar opposites. This is why they complement each other. The sheer, feminine burnout tank hangs perfectly over the edgy and polished lace. The look itself is classic; all you have to do is know how to mix polished secretary with....Parisian Grunge...?.......accent the look with turquoise hues, and tribal patterns.

Every angels terrible

"I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not the devil. I am just a small girl in a big world trying to find someone to love."
Marilyn Monroe
the key to elegance is rebellion.

When a young woman obtains her class it does not mean she also obtains prudence. The true beauty in a woman is her flaws and her need to show them. The fact that a woman respects and embraces her flaws makes her a woman of true beauty.

Deceit. There are so many things in life fashion and society in general that are full of the art of deceit. The sirens in life that are able to come in and completely disrupt a pattern that almost seems like destiny. Who can do that? It's destiny right? The only person that can actually achieve such high and mighty actions is...well...God... Communicable diseases are not able to be cured but they can sure spread. People can be the equivalent. When will we find the cure?

No One Mourns the "Wicked"

Friday, May 28, 2010

Nowadays, people act like everything is solely dependant on the circle you are in. There is an acceptance among many Americans that has meshed most of the opposition between "good and bad." Things like wearing white to a wedding are tradition because white is considered the color of purity. You would wear black to a funeral because it is the color of mourning. Who said this has to be so? Why are drugs and alcohol a no-no subject? Why are we so uptight that any of this matters? I don't know. Religion is not necessarily a necessity either. Atheism and nihilism are beliefs. Atleast these people believe in something. This is why art is so important to us. It is kind of like our salvation because the arts are some of the few things we can still unite around. As far as I'm concerned everything we think matters will mean nothing one day. Why not enjoy life doing something beautiful?
